Who it fits
Good fit for
You should choose this rower if you live in an apartment or have limited floor space. The folding design is ideal for storing the unit under a bed or in a closet after use. It suits beginners and intermediate exercisers who want full-body engagement with low joint impact. The 350 lb capacity accommodates most body types. If you enjoy guided workouts, the app integration provides structure. It is also good for users who want a quiet machine for early morning or late-night sessions.
Who should skip it
Skip this model if you need a rower for heavy commercial use or high-intensity interval training with extreme loads. The magnetic resistance system may feel less intense than air or water rowers for advanced athletes. The display is a basic performance monitor without a built-in color screen or detailed analytics. If you require a wider seat or a longer rail for taller users over 6'1", this compact frame might feel restrictive. You should also look elsewhere if you prefer a non-folding, permanent installation for maximum stability.
Verdict: The Merach R25 is a practical, space-saving solution for home users who value convenience and app-guided workouts. Its folding design and moderate resistance levels make it a solid choice for small spaces.
